During the investigation, firefighters located a small fire in one unit on the 4th floor and quickly extinguished it. The smoke activated the automatic fire sprinklers which will necessitate water removal. No injuries reported. Dept Building & Safety (LADBS - Unknown ETA) to an automotive dealership, where 4th floor (top level of auto parking above sales offices) flooring tiles have visibly buckled and shifted. No other structural compromise noted. No entrapment or injury. Pursuant to protocol, and out of an abundance of caution, LAFD has commenced the calm and orderly evacuation of all office/parking area occupants (unknown total) until LADBS performs a formal assessment of the structure. No escalating or off-site hazard has been identified.
