KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1632; 07:16PM; 1157 S Lorena St; https://bit.ly/47j4Y29; #BoyleHeights; Firefighters responded to a one-story commercial building (tool supply) with heavy smoke showing. Crews coordinated fire attack with vertical ventilation and extinguished the flames in 38 minutes. The fire was confined to the unit-of-origin and was prevented from spreading to the adjacent cabinet shop. LAFD hazardous materials specialists responded after lithium ion batteries were found inside. No reported injuries.
