Firefighters contained the fire to the structure of origin, preventing it from extending to the attic of the adjacent church. LADWP notified for the downed power lines. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1002; 02:00PM; 113 S Edgemont St; https://bit.ly/3YWH2iN; Koreatown; KNOCKDOWN: 78 firefighters (companies still enroute were canceled) extinguished the fire in 21 minutes with no injuries reported. Firefighters located the fire on the 3rd floor and contained it to the unit of origin while additional crews checked the floors above and below for smoke and conducted salvage operations to protect belongings against damage.
