Update #CeresIC Structure Fire; 08:42PM; 748 S Ceres Av; internal:/; #DTLA Official Knockdown not declared but transitioning to release some resources. Outside pallet fire was fully involved and affected 6 buildings. 1 is total loss and will continue to burn through the evening due to contents (bailed textiles) and instability of structure - unsafe to enter. Firefighters battled for nearly two hours to save 5 buildings. No injuries reported. LAFD will remain on scene through the evening. Cause = accidental, 1 unit heavily damaged on 3rd floor, unit directly below on 2nd floor with significant water damage, hallway on 3rd floor with heavy smoke damage.
