LADBS requested for structural assessment; companies remain on scene for overhaul of the fire damage. Confined Space Rescue - Now Static; INC#1670; 10:42PM; 1821 N Sichel St; https://bit.ly/49DDMOD; Lincoln Heights; LAFD USAR teams lowered wristlets into the shaft and were able to direct the patient to place them on his wrists. Patient was then lifted and fully extricated from the shaft by rope. Paramedics are transporting the 27M in critical condition to a local trauma center with LAPD escort. Firefighters checked for occupants and fire extension in adjacent units, and remain on scene to overhaul fire damage and sweep water from the building. No patients/injuries reported, no cause determined at this time. Update KNOCKDOWN Major Emergency Structure Fire; INC#0113; 02:10AM; 771 E Pico Bl; https://bit.ly/47AXnwx; Downtown; 109 LAFD Firefighters took 1 hour 38 minutes to extinguish flames within the 2 occupied units of the 1 story commercial building located in the area of downtown Los Angeles known as the Fashion District. Though intense flames caused structural compromise throughout the involved commercial structures, firefighters kept the blaze confined with no extension into neighboring businesses. No injuries reported. Structure Fire; INC#0113; 02:10AM; 771 E Pico Bl; https://bit.ly/47AXnwx; Downtown; Initial reports state dumpster in alley exposing 1 story commercial. Units arrived to find heavy smoke coming from 2 units in 1 story row of commercial occupancies. Companies began an aggressive offensive attack of the fire, with firefighters on the roof stating heavy fire coming from all cut ventilation holes.
