Update Structure Fire; 08:55PM; 1519 E Pleasant Av; internal:/; Boyle Heights; KNOCKDOWN: 101 FF in 58 mins. Address updated to 1519 E Pleasant Av. Building will continue to collapse as it smolders and water is applied. Red Cross notified to assist with housing needs for those evacuated (number unk) of adjacent 2 story apartment building (fire extended to the attic when fire building collapsed against it). Update Structure Fire 01/07/2018

Update Structure Fire; 08:34PM; 1516 E Pleasant Av; internal:/; Boyle Heights; The fire building has partial collapse towards the exposed building (two story, center hall apartments) on the bravo side (south/west) side of the structure. Fire extended into the attic of the apartment building and firefighters quickly pulled ceiling and gained a knockdown. Firefighters continue to defend the exposure on the delta (north/east) side of the fire building from any damage. Crews continue to battle the flames on the fire building.
