No one was home at the time of the fire, there are no smoke alarms in the unit, building occupants were notified of the fire by a central alarm system, there was no sprinkler activation. The building was under construction (updated to single family dwelling as opposed to apartment building) and well involved in fire. #LAFD used a defensive operation to battle this fire. Firefighters also faced an electrical hazard with wires down and arcing on one side of the structure. Two additional dwellings were exposed with flames impinging the rear (Bravo) exposure (single family dwelling) and firefighters defended them from any significant damage. No injuries reported.
