Update Structure Fire; INC#0259; 05:24AM; 729 S Normandie Av; http://bit.ly/2ExlnX3; Koreatown; Firefighters battling stubborn fire that appears to have started in the subfloor and walls of a 4 story center hall apartment building. Crews opening up walls and fire is extending through the walls with reports of fire present on 4th floor (in walls with potential for attic involvement). While residents initially sheltered in place, they are now being evacuated. There are no reported injuries. This incident is now at a Major Emergency status with over 106 firefighters assigned. LAFD PIO enroute to the Command Post (Normandie x 8th) for media inquiries.
