Knockdown - Greater Alarm Structure Fire; INC#1754; 09:19PM; 749 S Kohler St; https://bit.ly/4bVBDeO; #Downtown; *Address Remains Tentative* 90 LAFD Firefighters took just 33 minutes in largely defensive operations to extinguish an outside fire that extended into and heavily involved a vacant one story commercial building, the scene of a previous fire. The remaining portions of that building were destroyed in tonight's fire, which impinged upon and may have caused collateral damage to another nearby structure. One firefighter sustained a significant laceration while battling flames at the peak of the firefight. He has been transported by LAFD ambulance to a nearby clinic for primary wound care of his non-life threatening injury. No other injuries have been reported. UPDATE: Multi-Casualty Traffic; INC#1110; 03:16PM; 326 E 12th St; https://bit.ly/3RCRI1b; #Downtown; A total of 9 patients were assessed for injury on scene. 2 adults (23F, 23F) were released in fair condition against medical advice; 4 adults (54F, 65F, 30F, 23F) were transported in fair condition; 3 minors (8M, 11M, 17M) were transported in fair condition. No deaths, no critical patients at time of transport. Fire companies remain on scene to handle the mini van, currently static under a collapsed awning. Circumstances of collision unknown.
