Update Structure Fire; INC#0297; 05:46AM; 2525 S Long Beach Av; https://bit.ly/4pdvQtv; Central-Alameda; First, arriving companies report an outside Auto fire exposing a one-story 150' x 100' commercial building with smoke in the building. Initially firefighters operated in an offensive mode, but have now moved to a defensive move outside of the building. Fire has extended into the building. Firefighters will continue operations for the rest of the duration of the incident in the defensive mode. LONG BEACH IC requested two additional Task Force's and the Department of Transportation to shut down Long Beach. Department of Water and Power and LAPD also requested. Update Stalled Train in Tunnel 07/10/2026 INC#1659

Update Stalled Train in Tunnel; INC#1659; 06:59PM; 3191 Wilshire Bl; https://bit.ly/44pKi7Z; Koreatown; First arriving companies found a train with 4 cars stalled before the Westlake Redline station, on the alignment right. The train was estimated to be about 1/8 miles from the station. LAFD companies operated in the investigation mode and found another train stalled. The Rail Operations Center was notified and the tracks were shut down. It was determined that the trains were de-energized. An evacuation operation commenced for both trains. An approximate 150 people were safely evacuated onto the platform. One patient was treated and transported. LAPD Inc# 4207. Approximately 51 firefighters assisted in the incident. Cause at this time unknown. Approximately 38 firefighters extinguished the fire within 10 minutes of the 911 call. One patient is reported and is be treated by paramedics. First arriving companies report a 4 story center hall DBA Yankee Hotel initially nothing showing. Fire companies on the tac channel report smoke in the hallway and smoke coming from one unit. Updated size up from IC was fire in one unit. Firefighters operated in an offensive mode. No reported injuries. No exposures. Cause is undetermined.
