Update Traffic Collision with Entrapment 08/31/2018 INC#1521

Update Traffic Collision with Entrapment; INC#1521; 10:41PM; 246 W Washington Bl; internal:/; Washington Corridor; LAFD Heavy Rescue unit lifted cab of (loaded?) cement truck; Sedan was then able to be pulled back by firefighters, who used hydraulic rescue tools to remove the roof and strategically deconstruct the sedan to extricate Patient #1 = 25 y/o M driver and sole occupant, found conscious and alert (medical condition not specified) with legs trapped beneath the sedan dashboard; Patient #2 = Driver and sole occupant of cement truck that came to rest atop the car, was not trapped = 49 y/o M with minor head injury, in fair condition; Both to area hospital by LAFD ambulance; Investigation and Roadway Reopening Information: LAPD Central Traffic Division, Incident #5852; Restoration of Metro Blue Line service = Metro Los Angeles; FS 10; Batt 1; Central Bureau; Council District 9; Dispatched LAFD Units: BC1 E10 E14 E15 E210 E215 EM1 EM11 HR3 RA10 RA14 RA15 RA810 T10 T15; - Brian Humphrey
