Update Brush Fire; INC#0971; 01:00PM; 2900 W Colorado Bl; http://bit.ly/2NwLEYv; Eagle Rock; The #ColoradoFire wildfire remains in a Unified Command (LAFD, Glendale FD, LA County FD, CHP) until further notice. *Speaking For Unified Command as of 1:00PM Tuesday*, the fire has consumed an estimated 45 acres with 85% containment (no change).LAFD Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) equipped with FLIR was flown this morning and found no hot spots. Equipment will be brought off the hill today and the goal is to have all LAFD resources released by 6PM tonight.There are no new injuries to report (One minor injury reported yesterday to a Glendale Fire Officer requiring no hospitalization). The two transition roads off the 134 Freeway will continue to remain closed until all operations are complete. Update Brush Fire; INC#0971; 07:35PM; 2900 W Colorado Bl; http://bit.ly/2NwLEYv; Eagle Rock; This fire started in the City of Los Angeles and moved into the City of Glendale. Forward progress of the fire is stopped in all directions with size held to approximately 30 acres with 25% containment. There are NO evacuation orders for the City of Los Angeles. The existing evacuation orders are within the City of Glendale only and Glendale Fire is the point of contact for those updates. There were no structures damaged and no injuries reported. Freeway closures remain in effect for an undetermined period and CHP is the point of contact for all traffic updates. The incident command post is moving to Verdugo Park located at 1621 La Canada Blvd and LAFD is transitioning command of this incident to Glendale Fire. LAFD will continue to have resources on scene throughout the night assisting with mop up operations and fire watch to ensure no flare ups take hold. All further updates to this incident will come via Glendale Fire. There is currently no known cause and it is under active investigation. This is the final update from LAFD on this incident.
