Update Structure Fire; INC#1327; 11:15PM; 742 S Hill St; https://bit.ly/2RAFYhn; Downtown; KNOCKDOWN: 90 firefighters assigned (fire knocked down before all additional resources arrived on scene) and knockdown of the fire achieved in 47 minutes. Initial reports of construction on 9th floor and the fire limited to debris near a stairwell access. Firefighters are conducting smoke removal operations on floors 9, 10 and 11. No injuries reported. Two additional task forces were requested. Firefighters made their way up the stairwell to the 9th floor and found a fire (possible trash area) in one unit. Structure Fire; INC#1227; 07:42PM; 2711 N Budau Av; https://bit.ly/2xlY8MD; El Sereno; LAFD found a small single-family home with smoke coming from the front door. Firefighters pulled a hose line inside to quickly prevent a contents-only fire from spreading beyond one room of the 832 sq-ft home. A total of 26 firefighters extinguished the flames in 11 minutes. All occupants made it out. One member of the family will be checked out by firefighter/paramedics on scene. No other reported injuries. First arriving LAFD crews quickly extinguished the remaining outdoor flames without injury.
