Update Structure Fire; INC#0264; 07:09AM; 630 S San Pedro St; https://bit.ly/3LGZL93; Downtown; This incident is now at the Major Emergency status with over 100 firefighters assigned. Firefighters made access and were able to make good progress against fire on the first floor however the fire extended up into the 2nd floor to the attic. There is now heavy fire in the attic. Access to that area is proving challenging. One additional task force requested. No injuries reported. Firefighters performed a defensive operation to fight the flames from the exterior of the structure. Ultimately, 70 firefighters extinguished the flames in 52 minutes (12:59am), without injury. Firefighters skillfully prevented the flames from extending laterally, preventing fire damage to the other10+ businesses in the structure.
