KNOCKDOWN Greater Alarm Structure Fire; INC#1559; 08:39PM; 989 S St Andrews Pl; https://bit.ly/3ynREs4; #Koreatown; Firefighters arrived to find a previously burned home with heavy fire showing. Crews employed defensive tactics (from the exterior) to pour copious amounts of water onto the flames. It took over 70 firefighters one hour and five minutes to extinguish the flames. No reported injuries. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0323; 07:02AM; 728 S Hartford Av; https://bit.ly/3cn0c8T; #Westlake; It took 36 firefighters to access, confine, and extinguish fire that involved contents on the second floor, and spread to the walls and attic of a boarded-up two-story home, in 18 minutes. Firefighters pushed flames back away from an adjacent apartment building, containing the damage to the unit of origin. Four occupants were found inside the home and evacuated, but declined on-scene medical evaluation. No reported injuries. Two vehicles (one white and one black) have been seen in the moving water and just passed the Washington St Bridge - firefighters are working to get a visual to determine if there are any occupants (they have not seen anyone in them yet). There are not currently known victims.
