Update #AdamsFire Major Emergency Structure Fire; INC#0148; 06:30AM; 2615 S Grand Av; https://bit.ly/3ITRWMK; #HistoricSouthCentral; Two LAFD Firefighters have been *treated at the scene* for respiratory complaints following smoke inhalation during the fierce firefight. No civilian injuries have been reported. LAFD Firefighters will remain at the location this morning to further salvage building contents, assist County of Los Angeles officials and support the still active LAFD investigation into the cause of the fire. Update #AdamsFire Major Emergency Structure Fire; INC#0148; 05:30AM; 2615 S Grand Av; https://bit.ly/3ITRWMK; #HistoricSouthCentral; One LAFD Firefighter is now being treated by LAFD Paramedics for smoke inhalation sustained during the fierce firefight in a government office building that is reported to house several County of Los Angeles agencies. LAFD Public Information Officer Captain Jacob Raabe is on scene. Media Staging is at the intersection of Adams Blvd and Hill Street. The pre-1960 concrete structure is owned by the County of Los Angeles, and houses administrative offices for several County agencies. LAFD Public Information Officer Captain Jacob Raabe is en route, ETA 5:00 AM. Traffic - Hydrant ; INC#0078; 01:30AM; 1508 S Alameda St; https://maps.app.goo.gl/r2eJMbYqmVJwbz459?g_st=ic; Downtown; Traffic collision caused a sheared hydrant which firefighters are unable to shut down and require LA DWP to do so. The water is heavily impacting a small commercial building at 1601 Alameda and causing significant structural damage. There are no reported injuries at this time. LAFD will remain onscene attempting to slow the flow of water until DWP arrive. Questions regarding the collision are referred to LAPD Inc# 0243. A total of six patients were transported: 20yo F and 20yo M in critical condition. 15yo M, 14yo F, 14yo M and 22yo F all with non-life threatening injuries. As opposed to information initially received, there were no pedestrians involved. All questions regarding the collision are referred to LAPD Inc# 0105. Physical Rescue 03/04/2023 INC#0487

Physical Rescue; INC#0487; 09:38AM; 446 S Westminster Av; #WindsorSquare; One vehicle crashed into the detached garage of a home, with partial collapse and one person trapped. LAFD Firefighters used their Urban Search and Rescue training to extricate the patient. Dept of Building and Safety has been notified and is responding for structural assessment. The patient was evaluated by paramedics as a precaution, but thankfully, had no complaint of injury. Firefighters searched the garage for any other occupants and have found no other patients.
