Update Structure Fire; INC#1337; 10:12PM; 917 S San Julian St; https://bit.ly/2HOE8aI; Downtown; KNOCKDOWN: 109 firefighters extinguished the fire in two hours and nine minutes. After a 90 minute defensive battle, crews returned to an interior attack to fully extinguish the flames. One firefighter was transported in fair condition with a heat related illness. LAFD Arson Section is investigating the cause of the fire per protocol for a Greater Alarm fire. LAFD PIO Captain Erik Scott is enroute for media availability. Fire companies will remain on scene through the night, conducting overhaul operations and ensuring no flare ups.
