After an initial offensive attack and finding fire on both floors and through the roof, the structural integrity of the building was compromised and the incident transitioned to a defensive operation. Firefighters used hand lines from the exterior and adjacent roof in addition to ladder pipes to fully extinguish the fire. LAFD Arson is on scene for the investigation.
