Update Major Emergency Structure Fire; INC#1501; 08:20PM; 268 S Los Angeles St; https://bit.ly/3DKSPWN; #DowntownLA; At least 120 firefighters continue to battle the three-story commercial building. The structure is showing signs of a potential for collapse. Companies have increased their distance, allowing a buffer for a "collapse zone," a continue flowing heavy streams from the exterior. Intense heat exposed a neighboring five-story residential building, where one unit has caught fire. Thankfully, fire sprinklers are holding the fire in check and preventing rapid spread, as firefighters ascend the stairs to address that unit.
