Update Hazardous Materials; INC#1108; 05:35PM; 617 W 7th St; https://bit.ly/3ltkvWV; Downtown; One LAPD Officer and one LAFD Firefighter suddenly became ill after contacting a male civilian who was or had been in the custody of a security officer at the retail pharmacy. Both responders, as well as the civilian (3 patients total) remain in fair condition with unspecified complaints. No other injuries among workers or bystanders was reported, and no escalating or off-site hazard has been identified. The LAFD Hazardous Materials Squad has been redirected to an area outside the receiving hospital, where all three patients have received a decontamination shower.
