Though no injuries or missing persons have been reported, LAFD will perform a comprehensive search of flooded subterranean sections of the UCLA Lot 4 Parking Structure as the floodwaters subside, and also assist L.A. Street Services in removing the toppled trees from Sunset Boulevard. Initial reports are that no other UCLA facilities, including nearby Pauley Pavilion sustained substantive damage. Sunset Boulevard remains full closed between Veteran Avenue and Hilgard Avenue, as does Stone Canyon Road from Sunset Boulevard to Bellagio Road, for an unknown duration. Motorists should avoid the immediate area and consider an alternate route. Detours are readily available.
