Tractor-Trailer Fire; INC#1164; 05:35PM; Sb 5 Fy; https://bit.ly/4bvXGdl; #Sylmar; First-arriving companies report a tractor-trailer hauling multiple electric vehicles stopped on the side of the southbound 5 Freeway truck lanes (south of Balboa Blvd, north of the 210 Freeway). Both the truck and at least four vehicles on the trailer are involved with fire. Fire resource access has been slowed due to rush hour traffic -- CHP is assisting with road closures (LOG 1777). Motorists are encouraged to keep well clear of the smoke. Additional LAFD resources, as well as LA County Fire resources, are still en route (#3711).
