Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#0085; 01:04AM; 1224 S Hope St; https://bit.ly/3WbnXqX; Downtown; 100’ x 150’ two-story row of commercials, previous burn, with fire showing from both the first and second floors. Though first-arriving companies initially entered the building, Incident Command soon ordered a defensive posture — companies backed out, fought fire from outside the structure, and prioritized the protection of neighboring structures. Crews transitioned back to an offensive posture as flames were brought under control. Knockdown declared at 1:54PM; exposures successfully protected and no injuries reported. Assisting on scene are LADOT, LADWP, and LAPD (INC#0292).
