Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#0209; 04:54AM; 1108 W Santa Cruz St; https://bit.ly/4rUAi0r; San Pedro; Two-story, single-family Craftsman home with heavy fire initially showing -- one neighboring home was also impinged upon, with heavy fire showing shortly after fire department arrival. Firefighters operated at both homes in the offensive mode, coordinating roof and interior operations. A broken gas line was found leaking pressurized gas during suppression operations -- line was shut down and the hazard mitigated. During a search, one dog was located in the primary home, alive and well, and returned to the occupants. Knockdown declared in 32 minutes with 47 firefighters working on scene. No reported injuries.
