Pedestrian Struck By Train; INC#1761; 09:38PM; 12099 Sherman Rd; https://bit.ly/3L5nHEu; #NorthHollywood; PRELIM: An approximately 50 year-old female pedestrian is deceased at scene after being struck by 'southbound' Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train #794, just east of Laurel Canyon Boulevard. The San Diego bound passenger train came to an emergency stop and remains just east of the location. The train crew and approximately 116 passengers have denied injury, and will remain on board the train, pending the train's release by LAPD investigators.
