KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0191; 04:40AM; 8900 S Sepulveda Westway; https://bit.ly/3I2ffVQ; Westchester; KNOCKDOWN: Over 80 firefighters battled for just over 90 minutes to extinguish the blaze in the large commercial strip mall. Partial roof collapse and division walls created challenges in reaching the different areas of the fire inaccessible from the exterior, defensive mode. Firefighters were able to work some sections in the offensive mode while other portions remained defensive. There are still some hot spots remaining which crews will continue to address well into the morning. The large number of fire apparatus will impact traffic in the area and drivers are advised to seek alternate routes. No injuries reported. Cause and $ loss TBD.
