KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1386; 05:02PM; 250 W Sepulveda St; https://bit.ly/3GyzyZc; #SanPedro; Firefighters found a vacant duplex with heavy fire showing from the rear unit. Crews began operating hose lines from the exterior, and knocked the flames back enough to continue the fight inside the structure (called a transitional attack), while other crews ascended ladders to the roof for vertical ventilation. Ultimately, it took 32 firefighters 16 minutes to access, confine, and extinguish the flames, before any fire reached the other unit in the duplex. No reported injuries.
