KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1410; 07:59PM; 3387 S Livonia Av; https://bit.ly/43r7cwd; Palms; KNOCKDOWN: Outbuilding (est 50' x 100') was well involved in fire and crews conducted a defensive operation against the structure. The fire extended into the brush adjacent to the freeway, creating smokey conditions requiring the shutdown of the Eastbound traffic on 10 FWY. The building housed an auto business and the explosion earlier is believed to be connected to the vehicles (possibly magnesium components) A total of 84 LAFD firefighters and at least two engines from Culver City FD extinguished the fire in 43 minutes with no injuries reported. LADPW notified for arcing / downed wires.
