KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0337; 07:51AM; 2219 S Orange Dr; https://bit.ly/3UViPaS; #MidCity; Firefighters arrived at a one-story single-family home to find heavy smoke showing from the attic. Crews forced entry into the home, to find their movement impeded by excessive storage inside. Ventilation crews cut holes in the roof and discovered the majority of the fire was in the attic. They advanced hose lines up onto the roof, and extinguish the bulk of the fire from above, through holes they made in the roof. Firefighters performed a primary search of the structure, and did not find any occupants inside. Ultimately, it took 32 firefighters 27 minutes to extinguish the flames. No reported injuries.
