Update KNOCKDOWN Brush Fire; INC#0593; 09:34AM; 5600 N Woodley Av; https://bit.ly/3RG8PQg; Sepulveda Basin; A well coordinated effort by LAFD ground crews have confirmed all forward progress of the fire has been stopped. Basin IC has updated the fire footprint to be a 50' x 50' area of heavy brush in the Sepulveda Basin Recreation Center. No injuries reported. No structures threatened. Firefighters will remain at scene mopping up hotspots and completing a damp bare soil perimeter surrounding the burned area. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
