Hiker Rescue - Hoist Op; INC#1170; 04:24PM; Graveyard Rd; https://bit.ly/47QcvV2; Tujunga; LAFD Air Operations worked in close coordination with the call taker from Metro Fire Communications on the phone with the reporting party to help guide them to the hiker's location far up the hillside, near the top of a ridge. LAFD Air Ops lowered a rescuer to evaluate the patient and determined a hoist operation was appropriate. The operation is underway and the adult male will be transported to the hospital with non-life threatening fall related injuries. The original 9-1-1 call was received at 3:42PM.
