Update Forward Progress Stopped Brush Fire; INC#1406; 05:44PM; Sb 110 Fy; https://bit.ly/49jn7Pp; Elysian Park; Forward progress of the fire has been stopped by the combined efforts of ground crews and air operations extinguishment strategies. In total, one to two acres were burned with no structural involvement. Fire companies are now in the "mop up" phase and will remain on scene to cool all hotspots and establish a full perimeter of bare earth around the burned area. No injuries have been reported. LAPD and LAFD Arson are on-scene investigating.
