Update FATALITY Cliff Rescue, San Pedro; INC#0493; 08:41AM; 1 Point Fermin; https://bit.ly/3nw6hUE; San Pedro; LAFD rescue divers made patient contact on the beach below the Point Fermin Bluffs and has determined the male patient (unknown age) is deceased and beyond medical help. The operation is now transitioning to a body recovery, utilizing LAFD Air Ops in a hoist operation. The decedent will be respectfully relocated to a predetermined location for LAPD / LA County Medical Examiner to transfer to their care.
