[Extended Operation] Structure Fire; INC#0291; 05:37AM; 2122 S Long Beach Av; https://bit.ly/4yfizEP; Central-Alameda; Long Beach IC requesting Arson and The Department of Building and Safety. Initial size up was an Auto fire exposing a one-story 150' x 100' commercial building with smoke in the building. Initially firefighters operated in an offensive mode, but have now moved to a defensive move outside of the building. Fire has extended into the building. Firefighters will continue operations for the rest of the duration of the incident in the defensive mode. The commercial building had a roof collapse and made access to fire in certain areas of the building difficult. During the IC requested two additional Task Force's and the Department of Transportation to shut down Long Beach. The Gas Company, Department of Water and Power and LAPD also requested. LAPD Inc#0996. An exposure next to the fire building had smoke exposure, but no fire.
