Contained - Greater Alarm Brush Fire; INC#1316; 09:45PM; 15045 Corona del Mar; https://bit.ly/3s1Oo2S; #PacificPalisades; 85 LAFD personnel, including those aboard a trio of helicopters, joined by hand crews from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and units from neighboring Santa Monica Fire Department, have stopped all forward progress of the terrain-driven flames to two (2) acre/s of medium-to-heavy brush in very steep and rocky terrain between Pacific Coast Highway and Corona del Mar. No injury. No structure damage reported. No formal evacuation. #LATraffic: Pacific Coast Highway will remain closed to all traffic between Chautauqua Blvd and Temescal Canyon Rd until LAFD operations are complete. Unknown duration. Motorists: expect congestion and delay, avoid the immediate area and consider an alternate route. Detours are readily available. Monitor traffic reports on news radio.
