ABOUT
The Los Angeles Fire Department is overseen by a five-person civilian board appointed by the
Mayor and affirmed by the
City Council. Pursuant to the
City Charter, this diverse and qualified group establishes goals and provides direction to the Department through
Fire Chief Kristin Crowley.
NOTE: All persons entering City Hall East may be required to provide photo identification and are subject to a security screening.
The Fire Commission strives to assist all meeting attendees, including those with special needs.
