Orientation is mandatory for new applicants and provides an opportunity to familiarize applicants with the testing process prior to the written exam.
Orientation Schedule
RSVP via Fire Prevention System (fps.lafd.org) to confirm your attendance. The deadline is 3 PM, the Thursday prior to the orientation. Orientations that do not meet minimum attendance may be canceled. Check with the office or lafd.org the week before to verify.
