The fire, which crested a hilltop above homes, was prevented from damaging any structures. The driver of the vehicle (adult female) was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. Update CONTAINED Brush Fire; INC#0759; 02:05PM; 2762 W Broadway; https://bit.ly/3jaFzxp; Eagle Rock; 59 LAFD firefighters, with the help of 2 engines and a BC from Glendale FD, extinguished the brush fire sparked by an auto fire. The initial burning brush "spotted" to the north side of Broadway in two places when embers were carried by the wind. With the help of several water drops by LAFD Air Ops, crews surrounded the burning vegetation and stopped all forward progress in 26 minutes. Crews remain on scene to continue improving containment lines and cooling any hot spots within the burn area. No reported structural damage.
