No other injuries reported. Firefighters are assisting the California Highway Patrol, Caltrans and Coroner's Office with the discreet and dignified removal of remains. One or more freeway lanes will remain closed until emergency operations and the CHP investigation is complete, unknown duration. Expect congestion and delay. Firefighters calmly evacuated all (unspecified number) patrons and workers from the two-story supermarket of concrete tilt-up construction. Though some smoke entered the rear of the store, there was no fire extension. No injuries have been reported. The fire was prevented from damaging adjacent apartment buildings. Two firefighters briefly sought on-site medical attention for minor injuries. No hospital care was required, and they will remain active in emergency operations at the scene.
