The crews worked aggressively to contain the fire to the building of origin, defended the adjacent buildings barely separated by a few feet. LAFD Arson is on scene for the investigation per protocol for a Greater Alarm fire. Crews will remain on scene through the night chasing down any remaining hot spots and keeping a fire watch.
