Structure Fire; INC#0411; 08:13AM; 3821 S Hobart Bl; https://bit.ly/3P99Goq; Exposition Park; FIRE NOW OUT: 32 firefighters extinguished a well entrenched attic fire in a one story single family dwelling in 18 minutes with no injuries reported. Upon LAFD arrival, firefighters found smoke showing from the attic and entered into an offensive mode. The interior of the home was clear and crews made their way up into the attic to knock down the fire. Cause and $ loss TBD. Knockdown - Structure Fire; INC#0707; 12:01PM; 1766 S Walgrove Av; https://bit.ly/3QgimKU; #MarVista; *Corrected Address*. Solo passenger vehicle struck and came to rest well within a 738 square foot two-story home (built 1952), causing structural compromise and erupting in heavy fire prior to LAFD arrival. 59 Firefighters took 65 minutes to access, confine and fully extinguish the stubborn flames within the heavily damaged structure, and rescue one female adult found within the vehicle, who has been taken to an area hospital by LAFD Paramedics in critical condition. No other injuries reported. LAFD PIO Captain Erik Scott is en route. No injury. The one-story section with dense interior construction, contained an apparently licensed cannabis cultivation business that had reportedly been undergoing some manner of repair.
