Update Structure Fire; 09:35PM; 17200 Burbank Blvd; internal:/; Due to an aggressive fire attack along with coordinated vertical ventilation, 32 firefighters extinguished the flames in just 19 min. 1 2nd floor unit was well involved in fire that extended to an adjacent unit. FINAL ; 06:30PM; 640 Echo Park Av; internal:/; Echo Park; Address confirmed as 640 Echo Park Av; Fire confined to one-story 1,100 sq ft hillside home built 1917; Not equipped with optional residential fire sprinklers; 2 tenants away when fire erupted; Cause is accidental, attributed to unattended cigarette; Monetary loss still being tabulated; No ambulance transport, Mayor's Crisis Response Team volunteers to provide at-scene crisis support and resource guidance for resident's recovery; 2 adjacent residential buildings had minor damage (one had broken windows due to radiant heat, the other suffered minor water damage); The two residents displaced by the fire will seek their own accommodation; Brian Humphrey
