No injury. The involved residence, built in 1909, was heavily damaged and suffered partial structural collapse from the fire, leading to the extended effort still underway to fully extinguish concealed smoldering debris. Crews used defensive firefighting tactics (from the exterior only) and set up ladder pipes and other heavy streams to attack the fire. The first 30 firefighters extinguished the flames in just 19 minutes. Crews will remain on scene for an extended period of time to chase down hidden hot spots and overhaul the building. No reported injuries.
