Though the vehicle and one involved unit in a row of bungalow-style homes were significantly damaged, there are no other injuries. Knockdown - Structure Fire; INC#0932; 01:52PM; 233 W 98th St; https://bit.ly/3f4CKh7; #BroadwayManchester; 33 firefighters took just 31 minutes to forcibly enter, overcome physical obstacles within, thoroughly search, confine and fully extinguish flames in an 874 square-foot one-story home (built 1913) that contained excessive personal storage. During initial fire attack, LAFD Firefighters discovered and rescued one elder adult male resident from the smoke charged structure. He has been taken to an area hospital by LAFD Paramedics in critical condition. No other injury reported.
