There were security measures to overcome in accessing the second floor, and smoke filled the entire building, challenging visibility. It took 49 firefighters 34 minutes to extinguish the flames. KNOCKDOWN Greater Alarm Structure Fire; INC#1559; 08:39PM; 989 S St Andrews Pl; https://bit.ly/3ynREs4; #Koreatown; Firefighters arrived to find a previously burned home with heavy fire showing. Crews employed defensive tactics (from the exterior) to pour copious amounts of water onto the flames. It took over 70 firefighters one hour and five minutes to extinguish the flames. No reported injuries.
