The fire was held to the 2nd floor with some extension into the attic. No other structures were damaged. There have not been any hospital transports as this time but one patient remains under evaluation, condition unknown. Confined Space Rescue 04/30/2022 INC#1473

Confined Space Rescue; INC#1473; 08:50PM; EB 210 Fwy x Hubbard; https://bit.ly/3B9e1Sv; Sylmar; LAPD and CHP are on scene where they received *reports of* two deceased persons at least 20 feet down a maintenance hole in the ground. Due to the nature of the space and entry portal, LAFD Confined Space Rescue Specialists will don special equipment and make entry to investigate, consistent with industry regulations. There is still no visual confirmation of patients. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire 04/30/2022 INC#1415

KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1415; 09:19PM; 8232 S Delgany Av; https://bit.ly/3LBNlPi; Playa del Rey; A well-established fire spread from the one-story attached garaged and burned through much of the second story and the entire attic of the two-story home. It took 61 firefighters 64 minutes to fully extinguish the flames. The fire was confined to the building of origin. One occupant complained of minor burns and was treated and released on scene. One firefighter was injured by falling debris from above, and was also treated and released (to continue working) on scene. Sadly, one feline pet is in grave condition, with firefighters performing resuscitative measures.
