Crews prevented the fire from extending into the exposed vegetation which would have put additional residences at risk. There appears to be three buildings on the property. One was fully involved in fire upon LAFD arrival and a 2nd building has some fire damage. Firefighters are investigating unconfirmed reports of possible victim(s) inside the building. Building type updated to an approximately 100' x 50' commercial building with four distinct occupancies under one common attic. The initial fire attack quickly extinguished the contents fire on the first floor and continued up the mezzanine and into the attic to extinguish any extension of the fire. The adjacent, exposed buildings were defended from any damage. There are no injuries reported. Cause and $ loss TBD.
