The degree of fire involvement in that one-story residence has yet to be confirmed. Though one male escaped the flames uninjured, a lifeless adult female (his mother?) was discovered by firefighters within the burning premises and determined to be dead at the scene. No other injuries reported. The animal is now described as semi-alert, with unspecified leg injury or outlook.
