Firefighters located seat of the fire on the 2nd floor in a AC duct down a narrow corridor and working to extinguish. The unit to the west is being protected from exposure. Update Hiker in Distress; 10:36PM; 1045 Figueroa Terrace; internal:/; #ElysianPark; Plan C was utilized: As the scene was lit from above by the 30 million candlepower spotlight of an LAFD helicopter, an LAFD Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team utilized a two line rope system to *raise* the two uninjured young adult male hikers to Figueroa Terrace; They are being medically evaluated by LAFD Paramedics before being released to their parents at scene; The reason for the young men climbing the hill, and the duration of their being stranded, was not immediately determined; NFD (No Further Details); - Brian Humphrey

Significant storage in the garage required time to remove so firefighters could ensure the fire was completely extinguished and had no extension. No injuries reported. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire and prevented any significant damage to the home. Primary and secondary searches found no one in the home and no injuries reported.
