LAFD Air Ops hoisted her and brought her to a nearby helispot, where she received a medical assessment by LAFD Firefighter-Paramedics and then assisted with getting back to her vehicle. An LAFD rescue helicopter was able to find the teen, and lowered a rescuer. LAFD Air Ops lowered one rescuer down to the location to enter the cave and make contact with the hiker. It took 28 firefighters 31 minutes to extinguish the flames. No reported injuries.
